Morpheus8 Microneedling
Morpheus8 is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that combines a microneedling treatment with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production and tighten skin.
To prepare for your procedure, your provider with apply and topical numbing to the treatment area. The procedure itself typically takes about 30-45 minutes, and involves tiny insulated needles that penetrate the skin and deliver Radiofrequency energy stimulating collagen and elastin formation.
One of the benefits of Morpheus8 is there is minimal downtime compared to more invasive procedures. You can expect to return to your normal activities in 1-2 days. It is recommended that you avoid sun exposure, intense workouts, and some skin products while the skin is healing. Results are typically noticed a few months after a treatment series is completed but the good news is you can expect to see continued improvement over the next two years! SkinPen Microneedling
SkinPen is an FDA-cleared microneedling device used to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, pore size and overall skin texture.
SkinPen is a minimally invasive and painless microneedling treatment that stimulates the skin’s natural healing process by creating controlled micro-injuries to the skin, promoting collagen and elastin production. It is safe for all skin types.
A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin for about thirty minutes to minimize discomfort. The procedure takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
Your skin will appear red or flushed like a sunburn immediately after the treatment and will gradually lesson to a light pink over the next 2-3 days. You can return to your normal activities with the exception of staying out of direct sunlight until the skin is healed. You can apply tinted sunscreen or makeup after 24 hours.
Improvements in the skin are observed as soon as 1 week after treatment but gradually improve over the next several weeks and months. A series of three or more treatments spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended to achieve best results.
