What is Restylane?
Restylane is a brand of cosmetic injectable dermal filler designed to enhance facial features, plump up skin, and smooth wrinkles and folds on the face and hands. The main ingredient is hyaluronic acid, a compound naturally occurring in the body, whose production wanes over time. A skilled injector artistically injects the filler under the skin to correct volume loss and reduce the appearance of deep and fine wrinkles.

What to Expect

Appointments are scheduled for 45 minutes to allow time for consultation with injector and 15 minutes of numbing the skin. There is a large portfolio of Resylane Fillers all intended for different areas of the face.

Your injector will help select the right filler and explain how many syringes are needed to produce the desired result. Post care instructions and expected outcomes are reviewed at the conclusion of the visit and a follow up visit is scheduled for two weeks to assess if more filler is needed.

Downtime is minimal, but there may be some swelling and bruising following the procedure. Most are able to return to normal activities right away, with the exception of a few restrictions and recommendations.
